Discover Kazakhstan

Canyons, alpine lakes, the Great Steppe and Silk Road cities — in one country, with visa-free entry for many nationalities.

Bozjyra, Mangystau Region

The ninth-largest country in the world, and one of the least explored

Kazakhstan stretches more than 3,000 km from the Caspian Sea to the Altai. In a single trip you can walk through a canyon carved over millions of years, swim in a mountain lake and spend the night in a yurt under a sky full of stars — with modern cities, good roads and warm hospitality along the way.

Culture and hospitality

In Kazakhstan a guest is a blessing. You'll be treated to beshbarmak and fragrant tea in a yurt, hear the dombra and watch horsemen race across the steppe. And four thousand years of history are carved right into the rocks.

Some of the darkest skies in Central Asia

Far from big cities, the sky over the mountains and the steppe is so clear that the Milky Way lights up the road.
