Culture and hospitality
In Kazakhstan a guest is a blessing. You'll be treated to beshbarmak and fragrant tea in a yurt, hear the dombra and watch horsemen race across the steppe. And four thousand years of history are carved right into the rocks.

Night sky
Some of the darkest skies in Central Asia
Far from big cities, the sky over the mountains and the steppe is so clear that the Milky Way lights up the road.
